I guess the hot news this week is the resignation of Idaho Senator Larry Craig. Well, first off… fuck him… Does anybody remember when the Lewinsky scandal broke and Larry Graig called President Clinton “a naughty boy”? Well this sure does put a new spin on it.

But frankly, as much as I love to see an old hypocrite bite the dust (and HARD), I have to question the sudden sanctimoniousness of the GOP congressional delegates. As soon as news of the scandal, there was already talk of removing Craig. Mind you, congressmen have been on break for a few weeks, so they had to conspire, er, I mean, communicate from every part of the country for the ostracism of Larry Graig.

Which begs the question: Why? Even the Foley scandal (where he came on to younger male employees) took longer to play out. The GOP, with its notorious “team first” mentality rarely break herd,er, I mean ranks and almost never excoriate their most senior members. So what gives?

Well the Fat Bastards, I mean, republicans, had to dump much sand on the poo, and in a hurry: here’s why… a whole slew of them are on the list of DC Madam, who ran an escort service (whorehouse that delivers) for hi-end clients: read: politrickuns and other A-list whoremongers.

David Vitter, for example, is a republican moralist and Senator. He’s also on the DC Madam’s list.

David Vitter is a hypocrite.

So what’s the difference between Larry Craig and David Vitter (or say Ted Stevens)?

It works like this. When a senator resigns, a temporary replacement is named by the governor. The Governor of Idaho, where Larry Craig is from, is a Fat Bitch, er, I mean republican his damn self. Now that Larry Graig has resigned, a republican replacement will be named.

David Vitter on the other hand, is a Senator from Louisiana, where the Governor is a Democrat. Were he to resign, a Democrat would be named as a replacement.

Consider the near fifty fifty split in the Senate and what’s going on becomes pretty clear: this is a calculated move to enable the republicans to maintain as much control as possible. If they get rid of an old perv, the status quo remains. If they get rid of the little inbred perv from Louisiana, they lose the grip they still have in Congress.

And this is David Vitter… a richboy from Lousiana… you telling me this face doesn’t just SCREAM inbred?
